This Acorn has a bowl made of cherry and a "cap" (lid) made of poplar. The stem is wenge. It is shown from different sides to show the different colors of the poplar lid.
The bowl is about 7" in diameter and stands about 6" tall. The lid adds about another 3" in height, including the stem.
