The base of this bowl is Spanish Cedar. The next 4 rings are Queensland walnut with mahogany dividers. The large design ring that makes up the rim has 2 thin rings of maple surrounding large blocks of maple which alternate with blocks built of bloodwood, poplar and satinwood, with a "window" of epoxy in the center. The epoxy windows allow light to pass through making a beautiful, gleaming piece of art.
